For the upcoming optional theme I’m asking you all letting things go. But before I talk about that I would like to thank everyone who linked up with Shame is a soul eating emotion. Please do go and check out the posts, I’m certain that comments and likes will be much appreciated.
I do apologise for the delay in setting up a new prompt. My brain has been busier than I generally care for, and so my focus lapsed. Letting things go here at mindful moments was perhaps inevitable? But I don’t want the focus to be on my perceived failings regarding this space. Rather, I want to take a look at this quote:
Sometimes letting things go is an act of far greater power than hanging on.Eckhart Tolle
I don’t believe that anything is as black and white as one size fits all. And even the same person may have a different approach depending on the situation. Sometimes a situation can be partially let go of, and partly not. I would like to know whether you agree with this or not. Whatever your thoughts, what experiences have led you to that conclusion? Would you like to change the way you deal with tricky situations? Maybe you feel you let go too easily? Or hold on too tight?
While I would love to hear your thoughts on letting things go the prompt is optional, so please link up any posts that are linked to mental health. I will keep the link up open until the end of October, while I work out the balance with my own self care. And I really look forward to reading and sharing your thoughts.

For me this space is as much about having somewhere to come back to and reflect on the silver linings when times are challenging. Hopefully we can make it into a treasure trove of positivity? A gratitude journal for us all to share and benefit from.
